Hi, I’m Rachael Pickworth.
Since 2001 I’ve been working with business owners, leaders and executives to make significant shifts in their lives and careers, but my story began a few years before that.
I’ve always had a yearning to make a difference by helping people feel fulfilled, engaged, inspired, valued, purpose-driven and impactful.
In my early twenties I began a corporate gift business called Gifted.
I wanted to help people to feel more appreciated, inspired and engaged in their workplace and began Gifted to help businesses reward and recognise their staff. . The mum’s lounge room start-up grew to include two city retail stores, a corporate showroom, and achieved annual average growth of 300%.
After five years the business was sold to wishlist.com.au, forming their corporate division. During the journey of Gifted out team were finalists in the Telstra Small Business Awards, won Business Bulletin’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and I was inducted into the Business Women’s Hall of Fame.
The next adventure…
Looking for a more personal way to make a difference in organisations I discovered coaching in 2000, embarking on an education in coaching, team coaching, business coaching, training, facilitation, management and leadership. Since then I have assisted thousands of leaders, executives and business owners to be the best they can be and make their unique difference, via my MAD Leaders Coaching and Training Programs.
Ultimately I am most fulfilled when I support my clients to feel passion-fuelled, purpose-driven and empowered to confidently make a difference by leading, engaging, inspiring and influencing others to deliver great work.
The key question is, what kind of leader do you want to be?
Conscious leaders consistently stretch and develop themselves, understanding they have the opportunity to make a difference to their team members and a broader ripple effect across the business, the industry and the community.
Complacent managers live on autopilot.
